I was looking at Southampton SANDS forum and found a link to your site from Berni.

I read your story and it's all so familiar for me.  I found out I was pregnant at the ripe old age of 38 after 6 years of "trying" for a child with no success and just 5 weeks after my dad died.

Hubby and I were sooooo excited about being parents, we too had everything a baby could need...and mor beisdes.... I sailed through my pregnancy too, got right to 41 weeks and Charlotte suddenly stopped moving.  I was induced on 22 March and she arrived at 6.26pm looking absolutely perfect.....

We too had no obvious answers to the BIG question..."WHY?"  But I think I had a slow leak of amnio fluid as there was none when she was born and I have a suspicion that I ignored the signs because I was so sure this was all "meant to be"

Life deals us some very cruel hands sometimes.  I just wanted to let you know that I've been thinking of you and your littel girl who was so much wanted and would have been so deeply loved.

We were both so shocked, saddened and devasted for you when we heard the news.  Holly was such a beautiful baby.  We were so honoured that you sent us a picture of her.
